  • Must be 19 years of age or older at the start of the course.
  • No prior childcare experience required.
  • Access to a device and internet connection.
  • Ability to complete 20 hours of coursework.
  • Interest in working with children in schools, childcare, camps, or community settings.

  • Assessment: Short quizzes and applied reflections based on practical scenarios.
  • Certificate: Upon successful completion of the course, you'll satisfy the 20 hours of recognized training and will be certified as a Responsible Adult working in Licensed Child Care, as required by the current BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.
