Y Mind Teen
Y Mind Teen is a free seven-week mental wellness program delivered across BC. This program supports teens ages 13 to 18 who are experiencing symptoms of mild-to-moderate anxiety or stress. Participants learn and practice evidence-based strategies to help manage anxiety.
Y Mind Teen is led by trained mental health professionals and gives teens the chance to connect with peers who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. All participants receive a free book, workbook and YMCA membership for up to 14 weeks. Made possible through our funding partners.
Our upcoming Y Mind Teen programs will be in-person in downtown Vancouver and Burquitlam in Spring and Fall 2023. Virtual programs via Zoom and in-person programs in other communities are available periodically.

Y Mind Youth
If you are aged 18 to 30 and struggling with mild-to-moderate anxiety or stress, this group is for you. Y Mind Youth is a free seven-week mental wellness program delivered across BC. Anxiety can impact our lives by preventing us from doing what we want or need to do. It can also be an isolating experience.
This free program brings young people who have similar thoughts and feelings together. Participants learn evidence-based skills from trained mental health professionals and report feeling reduced anxiety, increased well-being and feeling less alone following the program. All participants receive a free book, workbook and YMCA membership for up to 14 weeks. Made possible through our funding partners.

Y Mind Adult
Y Mind Adult is excited to announce that we are able to continue supporting adults through our Y Mind program. This free, seven-week mental wellness program is open to those aged 31 and up who are experiencing stress and mild to moderate anxiety. Y Mind is a skills-based group led by mental health professionals in a supportive environment. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to increase coping. This group is led by trained mental health professionals and gives adults the chance to connect with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. Made possible through our funding partners.
The next Y Mind Adult Group will be offered in fall 2023. Dates and times to be announced. Registration begins in September. Please note that the program is only available to BC residents. Mind Medicine
Mind Medicine is a program that offers the Y Mind curriculum in a culturally responsive way. These programs are skills-based groups led by mental health professionals in a supportive environment and include connection to culture, as determined by Mind Medicine facilitators.
Mind Medicine programs are only delivered in partnership with Indigenous-serving organizations in Canada and are available to the young people in these communities. Programs are delivered in person or online, according to each organization.
Teen Mind Medicine (ages 13-18)
Teen Mind Medicine is a free, seven-week mental wellness program for 13–18-year-olds experiencing mild-moderate anxiety. Tee Mind Medicine is delivered by Indigenous-serving organizations in multiple communities across Canada.
Youth Mind Medicine (ages 18-30)
Youth Mind Medicine is a free, seven-week mental wellness program for 18–30-year-olds experiencing mild-moderate anxiety and is delivered by Indigenous-serving organizations in multiple communities across Canada.

YMCA at Home Wellness Programs
Coping during this pandemic means keeping your mind healthy and strong. YMCA at Home's wellness programs provide you with online mindfulness tools, lessons in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), skills to cope with anxiety, self-care, relaxation exercises and more.
